Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration (ACG) Olakunle Gabriel Osisanya, fdc have promised to ensure excellent service delivery in his regime.
The ACG spoke to The Trumpet, during his assumption of office that he will ensure that all Passport Control Officers (PCOs) in the Zone deliver excellent and quick services to all passport applicants.
The new Assistant Comptroller General was born on 15th January 1964. He hails from Iperu Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
ACG Olakunle Osisanya joined the Nigeria Immigration Service on 4th January 1988 and was commissioned as a member of the 19 Basic Course of the Nigeria Immigration Training School, Kano.
He last served as the Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration (General Services) at the NIS Service Headquarters, Abuja before his present posting as ACG/Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘A’ Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.
He previously served at Borno, Kwara, Niger State Commands and the SHQ. He was also in-charge of the NIS Servicom Desk and Special Assistant to the Comptroller General of Immigration on Servicom. His previous commands as Comptroller of Immigration (CIS) include Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja (NAIA), Visa Policy at SHQ, and Ogun State.

He was the NIS Team Leader, PPTS Intervention/Roll-Out to Lebanon, Syria, USA and Egypt between 2010 – 2012. He was the Nigeria Immigration Service Representative, Christian Pilgrimage Security Sub-Committee to Israel in 2012.
He was Seconded to United Nation Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) as Advisor to Liberia Immigration Service from 2013 – 2016. He was the first NIS Reform Champion on the ease of doing business in 2016 – 2018.
He has done presentations on NIS reforms both locally and internationally (Vienna, Zurich etc.)
He has received several awards; these include Letter of Appreciation by the UNMIL Police Commissioner in Liberia in 2016, Comptroller General of Immigration Merit Award (Distinguished) in 2017 and Presidential Impact Award on Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria between 2016 – 2017 by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on behalf of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
He is a Member of Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM) and a Distinguished Fellow of the National Defence College Nigeria, Course 27.
His hobbies include reading, watching documentaries, scientific movies, football and Formula One.
Olakunle is married and blessed with children.
